John is President of Quick Serve Restaurants and operates 25 Wendy's restaurants in Ontario, Canada. He has served on Wendy's Canadian Advertising Program and the Franchise Advisory Council for nine years and is currently treasurer for the DMA in Ontario. John began his Wendy's career in 1994 as an Assistant Manager at Pioneer Fast Foods Inc. He has a strong commitment to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption of Canada, with collection canisters on the counters in all his restaurants.

John offers a unique perspective for QSCC as operations are very different in Canada compared to the U.S. Due to Canada's tax laws, Canadian operators may not be members of the co-op, but still benefit from the negotiations and programs managed by the QSCC teams in both countries. John serves on the Distribution Committee.

Prior to joining Wendy's, John worked in the petroleum industry as the manager of a gas station/car wash/convenience store for Pioneer.

John was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario. He graduated from Mohawk College with degrees in Business Management and Human Resources and was proud to welcome his sister to the company as a Training Director in 2017.
