VP of Equipment, Energy, IT & Services Purchasing

David joined QSCC in 2016 to lead purchasing initiatives in the areas of Kitchen Equipment and Building Design.  He and his team are responsible for the strategic sourcing of non-food & packaging related goods and services needed to support Wendy’s franchisees in today’s competitive QSR environment.  David’s top priority is to deliver outstanding value to co-op members, helping them achieve their business objectives. He is a passionate advocate for our members and enjoys negotiating on their behalf.

 

Prior to QSCC, David oversaw purchasing of equipment, technology and other indirect categories for Darden Restaurants, including Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse and their other full-service brands.  He gained extensive distribution, operations and project management experience outside the restaurant industry at both Frito-Lay and McMaster-Carr, one of the largest MRO suppliers in North America.

 

David is a firm believer that good leaders have a set of guiding principles and they stand by those principles even when difficult decisions need to be made. He obtained his B.S. Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan. He and his wife, Denise, enjoy outdoor activities with their two sons.
