SVP of Information Systems
Eddie Phillips and his team are responsible for ensuring visibility of critical supply chain data for QSCC associates, The Wendy’s Company, and QSCC trading partners in the U.S. and Canada. He inspires the team to maintain a best-in-class enterprise architecture and collaboration framework. Eddie leads the QSCC Supplier Technology Panel to ensure suppliers receive the most up-to-date analytics to support their business in the Wendy’s system. He is also a member of the GS1 Foodservice Executive Leadership Committee (ELC) with focus on emerging technologies including RFID, IoT, and Blockchain to achieve system-wide traceability and visibility goals.
Eddie began his food service career working as a cook at age 16 in Clarksville, Indiana. More recently, Eddie delivered supply chain technology solutions in the U.S. and abroad for companies in multiple industries. Before joining QSCC in 2012, Eddie served as Senior Director of Supply Chain for Unified Foodservice Purchasing Co-op, LLC (Yum! Brands, Inc. co-op). He developed supply chain visibility systems that supported the domestic and international needs of franchise and corporate restaurants across multiple QSR brands.
Eddie is a proud graduate of the University of Louisville’s J.B. Speed School of Engineering with a degree in Engineering Mathematics and Computer Science and a Master of Engineering. Eddie and his wife Katie are proud parents to their adult children, Carolyn and Charlie. When he is not rooting for his Louisville Cardinals in sports, Eddie’s other passions include traveling, hiking, kayaking, and sailing.
