Justin “Juice” Schmidt is a second-generation Wendy’s franchisee, serving as President and CEO of the Schmidt Family Restaurant Group. He continues the legacy established by his father, Scott Schmidt, a Wendy’s Hall of Fame inductee.

Juice began working in the family business in 1998 while pursuing his education at Ohio University, graduating in 2003. In 2015, Juice was named President and CEO, taking the business from 18 Wendy’s locations to 74 locations, continuously growing every year. The Schmidt Family Restaurant Group made history as the first father and son to each receive a Founder’s Award. Juice was also presented with the Wendy Award in 2018.

Juice has championed franchisees and has played a pivotal role in shaping the Wendy’s brand. He served as DMA President for Charleston, WV since 2016 and for Greensboro, NC since 2022. In 2019, he joined WNAP (Wendy’s National Advertising Program) and has since held multiple leadership roles, including Vice President in 2022 and 2024 and now President in 2025.

Juice is originally from Wheelersburg, OH (Go Burg!), and currently resides in Morrisville, NC with his wife of 17 years and their two amazing daughters.
