VP of Operational Excellence
For Krista, her team's mission is to provide seamless and uninterrupted product supply for new menu items tested, launched, and promoted by Wendy’s. She and her team oversee all tests, launches and promotions for the co-op, as well as disengagements of food, packaging, equipment and smallwares. Krista believes effective collaboration and communication with Wendy’s, our Suppliers, and our Distributors are key to bringing a program to life and achieving their ultimate success – restaurant operators never having to worry about running out or having too much product inventory. Her team does everything possible to anticipate and react to actual performance to support these initiatives for all Wendy’s restaurants.
Before joining The Wendy’s Company in 2008 as a Regional Distribution Manager, Krista spent nine years with Anderson News Company, a national magazine distributor based in Knoxville, TN. At Anderson, she was a Project Manager for five years working with retail chains such as Wal-Mart, Kroger, Publix and Walgreens.
Krista served for two years as a board member for the National Restaurant Association’s Supply Chain Expert Exchange. This group organizes supply chain conferences each year to provide supply professionals with a forum to connect, learn, and lead. In 2019, Krista presented a breakout on Promotional Management at the conference. Previously, Krista was an advisor to the International Foodservice Manufacturer’s Association (IFMA) Supply Chain Optimization Board.
She and her husband, Matt, are graduates of Ohio State University and enjoy spending time with their two daughters.
